The 2013 Ladera Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of Bordeaux varietals with Cabernet Sauvignon being the backbone of the blend. Hand crafted in small lots, each individually harvested, hand sorted, then de-stemmed to small open top fermenters and aged for 18 months in 55% new French oak before the final blend was assembled.
An early spring and endless summer provided idyllic growing conditions producing a bountiful crop of ripe, flavorful fruit. The 2013 Ladera Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon displays intense aromas of black cherry, vanilla and red licorice, with savory notes of olive and dried herbs. The concentrated palate reveals brambly blacks fruits, toasty oak and polished tannins that pushes through to a long, lingering finish.
